Introduction: Smart Belt

Wearing some gadget is identical challenging. Honestly, in this project, I got help from my mamma to sew the case for me because I cannot sew by myself. Cost careful when sew using sewing political machine. If you never go through sewing with sewing machine, it is also fun doing this imag by hand.

Smart Belt with Micro:bit can show many results when shaking, tilting, and pressing the release connected the Micro:bit. Information technology bequeath demonstrate different images and functions, such as temperature and compass direction.

Without further ado, rent's start this project.

Supplies

1x Micro:piece, include 1x Assault and battery holder, 2x Abdominal aortic aneurysm Batteries and 1x USB Cable

1x Sewing Machine

1x Meander

1x Phonograph needle

1x Belt

1x Crinkle ripper (it is used to cut remaining unnecessary thread)

1x Scissors

Step 1: Microbit Example

Prepare the sewing automobile. Hand-hewn the fabric. The size that we

want for the casing is 4.5" x 3". Consequently, cut the fabric with the sizing of 5.5" x 6".

It leaves extra blank space for the distance to tailor-make happening. The extra space for sewing is 1", so separate it into two, which is ½" for stitching on both pull (left and right sides). Fold the fabric into two with the inner side of material faces up (see the flushed line in Figure 1).

Step 2:

Sew together the fabric with succeeding the blue line in the figure 2. (Each width of the blue line is 1/2 ")

Step 3:

Turn the inner division of the fabric out, so the outer fabric becomes the outside of the case.

Step 4:

Check whether Micro:bit and the battery holder fit in the case.

Abuse 5:

Trim the top edge of the case. Measure the micro:bit. The size is 2"x 1.5". Make the hole by clipping a rectangle conformation of the front side of the event. The muddle's measurement is 1.8" x 1.25". Go steady form 3.

Step 6:

Sew the Snap-on push in the sheath.

Step 7: Belt Loop-the-loop

Sew with other fabric for forming a belt loop, so the belt can be inserted into the Microbit case.

The package is online and free. Give predictable you have internet connection when doing this. When creating the project for the first time, it will show up the other project page. Rename the project and save it.

There are two choices for coding in Makecode, which are blocks and JavaScript. You tush choose which terminology you desire. I pick out block because IT is easier to habit.

Step 9: Program the Micro:bit

Step 10:

Download the write in code by clicking the download clitoris at the bottom left hand of the screen. Connect the Micro:bit to the computer by plugging the USB Cable to the computer. Then, imitate the downloaded to the Micro:bit. The meaning of the code should be like the i shown in the picture.

Step 11: Test the Code

To examination the code, unplugged the USB cable from the computer. For Micro:bit to standalone, plugged in battery holder with the battery interior it. For compass, the Micro:bit necessarily standardisation. Tilt the Micro:bit to fill the silver screen.

Step 13: Press Push B

Step 14: Weigh Button a and B Collectively

When contrac both buttons (A+B), it shows room temperature.

When I test the code, my room temperature is 72 degree Fahrenheit.

Step 15: Tilt to the Left

Tilt the Micro:minute to the left and it will show "L". I made the image of "L" to show that Little:bit is tilting to the left.

Step 16: Tilt to the Rightmost

Tilt the Micro:bit to the right and it will show "R". I made the icon of "R" to show that Little:number is tilting to the right.

Step 17: Shake

Shake the Micro:bit and it shows "Hello!" and image of duck. You also seat customize the word or the ikon that I have already explained in previous step.

Step 18: Break apart and Show Polish off the Whack Gadget

Put the micro:bit and battery bearer into the sheath. Insert the whang to loop. Wear the belt to your waist. In the end, start attempting to smatter with the micro:bit. It is very diverting.
