I have windows 10. How do I make a short cut for Face Book to my desktop. T Y
Andre's method won't work if you're not using the Facebook app from the Microsoft Store. If you're accessing Facebook with your browser, you can right-click on the desktop and selectNew > Shortcut. You'll see this:
Typewww.facebook.com in the box and click on Next. You'll see this box, where you can give the shortcut a name:
TypeFacebook in the box and click on Finish. The new shortcut will be created on your desktop and will open using your default web browser.

A. If this is Facebook app > Windows Key+D to display your desktop > Click on Windows Start (bottom left orb) > Drag Facebook to desktop
B. If you want to create Facebook shortcut for your browser
1. Firefox & Chrome
Open the website > Make Firefox / Chrome window small enough so that Desktop is visible
Drag the lock or information symbol in left side of address bar to Desktop
Your link is created.
2. Edge
Copy the below line by selecting it and CTRL+C
%windir%\explorer.exe microsoft-edge:https://www.gmail.com

C. A General Way to open the shortcut in default browser - Windows Key+D (or M) to show Desktop > Right click on Desktop > New > Shortcut
Give the complete address of the website (you should copy and paste from the browser)
Next > Finish
